Author Guidelines
The National Journal of Neurology invites original research articles, reviews, case reports, and other scientific contributions in the field of neurology and related biomedical sciences. To facilitate an efficient review and publication process, authors should comply with the following guidelines:
Manuscript Preparation
- Manuscripts must be written in clear, scientific English, Azerbaijani, Russian.
- Include the following sections: Title, Abstract (structured, 250 words max), Keywords (3–6), Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (if applicable), and References.
- Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and referred to within the text. Images must be high-resolution (≥300 dpi).
- Follow the journal’s preferred referencing style (e.g., APA, MLA, Vancouver).
Originality and Ethics
- Submitted work must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- Proper citation of all sources and previous studies is mandatory.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
- Studies involving human participants or animals must have ethical committee approval and conform to international ethical standards.
Submission Process
- Manuscripts should be submitted via the online submission platform.
- Include a cover letter outlining the significance and originality of the work.
- Authors may suggest qualified reviewers if desired.
Peer Review
- All manuscripts undergo rigorous double-blind peer review.
- Authors should address reviewers’ comments thoroughly during revision.
Copyright and Licensing
- Upon acceptance, authors transfer copyright to the journal.
- The journal follows an open-access policy with Creative Commons licensing to maximize dissemination.
Formatting
- Use a standard font such as Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced, with 2.5 cm margins.
- Define abbreviations on first use.
- Ensure language clarity and correctness before submission.
